Home of the Homebrew Browser and Wii tutorials Homebrew Browser Source January 2nd, 2020 As a fairly recent subscriber to the MVG channel, I was watching the latest video on Homebrew Wars when I saw the Homebrew Browser mentioned! I had pretty much forgotten about it which made me smile when I saw it :). Good to know that some users have modified the URL in the dol file so they can keep it up to date. I had planned to release the source but forgot about it and the video reminded me that I should release the source so I hope someone can put it to good use. I must warn you that the source is quite bad so don’t expect to see something good. I won’t be able to answer any specifics about it as I don’t remember most of it, it’s been 8 years! You shouldn’t receive the 503 errors too frequently at the moment. We will be moving servers with-in the next few days after I’ve tested the new server to make sure everything works well. I have re-added mp3 support but it might not work properly as I didn’t have much people to test it out. Also small things like not deleting folders (e.g. /apps/fceu, /fceu/roms, etc) has been added as well as not extracting files if they exist (e.g. /apps/quake/ID1/pak0.pak). Download HBB v0.3.6 or run HBB on your Wii to update. The main feature is the ability to choose another repository other than the official one. There is only a test one for the time being which is hosted at bravenet.com to show that it can be hosted anywhere. I’m working on explaining how the listing file in HBB works here and hope to have it finialised in the next few days. Download HBB v0.3.5 or run HBB on your Wii to update.
